Things I Fancied Thursday || 5.0 ||

I’m late. Way late. I got home later than planned last night and I, being the old woman I am, didn’t stay up very long after getting home. However, the post is now here for me to enjoy. For you too, but mostly me. As always, if you make it to the end, you receive a virtual high five!

There’s zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas.

I had a few – particularly Romans 12:1 as of last night. This week, I want to hear from you all though! What scripture stood out to you as you read and studied the Word this week?

I’m still stuck on Twenty One Pilots’ ‘Fairly Local’, but I listened to Sleeping At Last’s Yearbook album again and the song ‘Emphasis’ is just way too beautiful not to share.

The sweetest thing I’ve ever heard is that I don’t have to have the answers

  • I went to Walmart with Sho yesterday. She knew her way around the store better than I did and gave me the directions to each item we needed to purchase. Plus, she held my hand the whole way and proudly carried her little purse.
  • The countdown to see my best friend went under the 40 days mark.
  • Starbucks with Kim was awesome because we hadn’t seen each other in a month. Then we had pizza and discussed our favorite old tv shows and worship with a few really cool people.

I’m still gushing over all of the artwork from Imagine Dragons’ newest album. Tim Cantor is brilliant and his work is proof of this fact. I could look at it all day long. Just watch the entire ‘Shots’ music video to get a feel for his work:
