I typically use Instagram as a quick, visual journal. This means that this blog gets ignored quite often. So, I have decided to share some of my images from Instagram and the thoughts that accompanied them to make up for the last month of silence.
Let every ember and screaming flame sear your soul. Feel its warmth and breathe its smoke until your lungs capsize. This is to feel and to feel is to live and to live is a beautiful thing.
Let fears and broken dreams be mere measures of your symphony. Let Hope be your theme and Serenity your anthem. Let Faith be your conductor and the Spirit your tempo. Let your love be recorded in movement after movement. Above all, let your love move.
There were no words for night one of Twenty One Pilots‘ Blurryface tour the day after. But now, I have so many words I could say about the incredible show and music Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun have given us. It was a beautiful celebration of life and the power of choice we have to make it a beautiful one, no matter how dark it gets. I saw scar after scar walk by me while waiting in line. I saw tears shed when it really, really clicked with people that they were not alone. Most of all though, I saw a lot of hope. I can’t wait to experience it all over again on December 1st.
Never forget to dream for the one who has forgotten how.
