Advent. A season of preparation. Expectation. Awakening. Arrival. Today, we hope. We seek and we find for Heaven does not hold Hope hostage. Seeds were given to the prophet Isaiah (Then a shoot will grow from the stump of Jesse). Seeds were given to Mary (For nothing will be impossible with God). Seeds were given to the disciples (I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also). And daily, seeds are given to us as we commune with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – because Heaven does not hold Hope hostage, but freely plants seeds for the impossible to take root.
