Two years ago, I was approached by a former classmate inquiring if I would be interested in second shooting a wedding with him. I am not in any way, shape, or form a wedding photographer, but agreed to do it – and it ended up being one of the best decisions I have ever made. Over the last two years, the very couple whose wedding I was hired to help photograph have become two of my closest friends and I had the most beautiful privilege of capturing their maternity photos this past week. Lachlan is going to be the luckiest little man getting to call Kailee and Ben ‘mom’ and ‘dad’, and he’s already adored beyond words!
